The prices for World Discovery tailor-made holidays are based on the Fairmont rooms (below), fairly small in size but very comfortable. All rooms are located on the mountain side of the hotel and have alarm-clock-radio, cable television with in-room pay movies and video games, coffee/tea maker, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, telephone with voice-mail, high speed Internet Access, and windows that open for fresh mountain air.
There is a wide choice of dining. The brunch buffet in the Bow Valley Grill is world-renowned. The Waldhaus is Fairmont Banff Springs' Bavarian restaurant, housed in the former Banff Springs Clubhouse (1927) and set on the edge of the Golf Course. There's also the Waldhaus Pub in the same building, with its dart board, several televisions, a pool table and multiple offerings of locally brewed bottled beer as well as beer on tap. The pub menu includes nachos, wings, fish and chips and calamari.
