Jetwing Lighthouse, Galle
Perched on a rocky outcrop above the beach, Jetwing Lighthouse is just five
minutes away from the colonial port city of Galle. Designed by world-renowned Sri Lankan architect Geoffrey Bawa,
this acclaimed hotel is a
member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World.
The hotel offers 60 luxurious rooms (below left) and three suites. All rooms have an ocean view, have teak flooring and are equipped with phone with IDD facilities, air conditioning, TV, mini bar and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, teak writing desks and a personal safe. Spacious granite-floored bathrooms have a separate dressing area and a rain shower.
