Mara Ngenche Camp
Atua Enkop's Mara Ngenche (opened in 2010 and expanded in 2014) is an intimate Bush Camp of just 10 spacious tents, each measuring approximately 54 square metres, and offering an amazing fusion of modern African décor. Each tent has a four-poster king-size bed with all amenities such as hot/cold running water all day, flushing toilet, free-standing bathtub and an outside shower. In 2014 individual plunge pools were added to each tent.
Nature is undisturbed and the camp grounds are kept ‘as found’ to allow one to be completely immersed with the surroundings. The camp is located on cliffs above the confluence of the Mara and Talek Rivers, home to a huge population of hippo and crocodiles. The camp is unfenced and is designed to allow the movement of animals through the grounds; there is 24 hour security and you will always be accompanied to and from your tent by a Masai guard.
There is 24 hour electricity in the camp and the tents have ample sockets and adaptors for charging your camera and mobile phone batteries.
