Palais Amani, Fes
The Palais Amani is a 15-bedroom riad in the ancient medina of Fes. With a salon and library, a rooftop bar, extensive terraces, a traditional hammam and spa and impeccable service, this is one of the best riads in Fes; it is also one of the largest.
Much of the old palace was rebuilt between 1928 and 1930, hence the art deco influences found throughout the riad. Carefully restored a few years ago, the Palais Amani now boasts modern comforts. All rooms are ensuite and have a private sound system, wifi connection, TV, in-room safe and hair dryer.
Traditional Moroccan breakfast is served in the dining room or on the dining terrace overlooking the central garden. At lunchtime there is an a la carte menu offering both light or more elaborate meals, whilst in the evening the restaurant serves a three course set menu d'hôte.
The Palais Amani has a luxurious hammam complete with separate exfoliation room, showers and relaxation area.
