We recommend the Skyscanner website for searching for the best options. Alternatively World Discovery can book the flights for you (we levy a service charge of £25 per person for this service).
World Discovery specialise in tailor-made holidays. The sample tour shown above is exactly that - a sample tour. We can change it to suit your precise requirements in many ways - by amending or ugrading the accommodation, by taking out or putting in additional sightseeing, by changing the number of nights in each place, by booking special meals, activities or cultural visits. We are happy to advise and help you create your ideal holiday.
EVENINGS AT PETRA
You have three nights at Petra. A magical experience not to be missed is the Petra by Night tour, when the rose-coloured rocks seem to glow from within, bathed in the light of more than 2,000 candles. Another option is to try your hand at cooking your very own Jordanian dinner at the Petra Kitchen (current cost £39). World Discovery can arrange these tours for you in advance, including private transfers, and include the cost on your invoice.
EXTEND YOUR STAY
Popular extensions to the 'Petra and the Red Sea' tour are as follows:
THE DEAD SEA
We have included a visit to Dead Sea en route between Aqaba and Amman on day 8. If you prefer we can book accommodation for you in this unique location, either for just the final night, or for a longer stay at the end of your tour. Our recommended hotel is the Kempinski Hotel Ishtar, which offers superb accommodation and a wide range of spa treatments.
If you have the time to extend your stay, Jordan's capital city has much to offer, from archaeological remains to a brand new National Museum and some excellent shops, cafés and boutiques for you to sample [more]. You could also take a half day excursion to the Baptism Site at Bethany, awarded UNESCO World Heritage Status in 2015.
STAY LONGER IN AQABA
If you want to extend your stay at in Aqaba, this can easily be arranged, at your choice of hotel.
