When choosing your departure date you may wish to bear in mind that, as per Forest Department regulations, safari drives will not be conducted in any of the national parks on Wednesday afternoons. TAILOR MADE OPTIONS
The sample tour shown above is exactly that - a sample tour. We can change it to suit your precise requirements in may ways - by amending or upgrading the accommodation, by taking out or putting in additional sightseeing, by changing the number of nights in each place, by booking special meals, activities or cultural visits. We are happy to advise and help you create your ideal holiday.
SKY WALTZ HOT AIR BALLOON SAFARI
During your stay in Jaipur why not experience the thrill of soaring above the Amber Fort and the outskirts of the city aboard a state-of-the-art hot air balloon. Sky Waltz offer daily flights during the main tourist season (September to May).
JAIPUR: UPGRADE TO THE RAMBAGH PALACE
For a true taste of luxury there is the option of upgrading to the Rambagh Palace, former home to the Maharajah of Jaipur, for your 3 nights stay in the city. We would be pleased to give a quote for the additional cost.
EXTEND YOUR STAY
Popular extensions to the 'Palaces and Tigers' tour include the following:
(Best from late March to May). Head for the hills to the former British summer capital. Stunning views of the Himalayan peaks and the opportunity to ride on the famous 'Viceroy's Toy Train'.
(Best from November to April). India's premier beach destination has a wide variety of accommodation to suit all budgets. Our favourite luxury hotel is the Leela (pictured).
(All year round). Spend time in India's most romantic city, with classic Mughal architecture overlloking the waters of Lake Pichola. We recommend a stay at the world-famous Lake Palace Hotel.
