Settha Palace, Vientiane
Built in 1932, and painstakingly restored to its former glory, the Settha Palace Hotel boasts classical elegance, gracious service and French colonial charm. The prices on the World Discovery website are based on deluxe rooms (pictured below). All feature French colonial decor with high ceilings, wooden floorboards, rosewood king-size or twin bedds, 2-seater sofa, coffee table, writing desk, in-room safe, satellite TV, minibar, IDD telephone and Wifi. Each has a marble bathroom with separate shower and bathtub. Room face either the gardens or the swimming pool.

Restaurant offers classical French cuisine or you can choose from a
seasonally-inspired Lao menu showcasing the distinct local flavours. The open air Sidewalk Cafe offers international and Asian dishes, while the Poolside Bar
serves light snacks and refreshments throughout the day.
