The Mount Pandim, Pelling
The Mount Pandim, a member of the Elgin Hotel Group, is set in eight acres of virgin forest and landscaped gardens in the heart of Pelling. The 300 year-old Pemayangtse monastery is right next to the hotel on a verdant hilltop covered by temperate oak forests.
Each of the 32 ensuite rooms (below) has picture windows so you may enjoy the magnificent mountain views, including Kanchenjunga, the third highest mountain in the world. The rooms are quiet and elegant and designed in the traditional Sikkimese style.
The Mount Pandim dining room enjoys wonderful views of the peaks, including Kanchenjunga, and offers excellent food. The Lounge Bar, as well as serving internationally famous drinks, is also well stocked with a range of Sikkimese drinks like Tongba (Millet Fermented Beer).
