Tamarind Hill is a 250 year old manor house, formerly the residence of a British Admiral, that has been carefully converted into a superb boutique hotel. Located just 10 minutes by road from the historic port-city of Galle, this charming hotel offers two suites housed in the original manor house and 10 'Crayford' rooms located around the central courtyard. All rooms are air-conditioned with ensuite bathrooms with rain showers, and have LCD television with satellite channels, free WiFi, tea/coffee making facilities, mini-bar and safety locker.
Tamarind Hill's restaurant serves a wide selection of dishes from around the world. Local fare with a general use of spice is based on the freshest of produce from the surrounding area, whilst seafood delicacies and grills true to traditional recipes feature strongly. There are two bars.
